Just Bee Art Journal Page
Today I am sharing another art journal page that I created for Paper Crafter's Library. Art journal pages allow me to explore new techniques, risk making things ugly and just loosen up and have fun! I decided to do something monochromatic and incorporated black india ink and string painting. If you are interested in the full step-by-step video for how to create this page, use the badge in the upper right-hand corner of my blog and consider subscribing to Paper Crafter's Library! A world of inspiration is just a click away! :)

Patchwork Pumpkin
Today I wanted to share a fun craft for the Halloween/Thanksgiving season! This is an idea that I got from Alisa Burke. She decorates real pumpkins in different ways every year and I fell in love with this patchwork pumpkin! I began with a plastic pumpkin that I purchased at the craft store. I wanted to have a pumpkin that I could use every year. Then I cut small rectangles of different cotton fabrics. Next I mixed Matte Mod Podge with some water and applied the fabrics to the pumpkin with a foam brush and the Mod Podge mixture. I found it helpful to work on a piece of freezer paper. I covered the entire pumpkin and let it dry and then I used a Sharpie White Paint Pen to add the stitch marks. I love how it turned out! Thanks for the inspiration Alisa!!!

Cottage Box Of Cards by Regina Andari
Cottage Box of Cards! – Regina Andari
You will be amazed at how quick and simple it is to make this cottage-style box with its stone-like exterior—a technique that you are sure to use again and again. The assortment of greeting cards feature the Hearth & Home Thinlits dies, and two of the cards are styled for Christmas but could
easily be made for winter events and occasions. You will definitely appreciate the many design and embellishment ideas featured from beginning to end in this tutorial, and don’t be surprised if you find a use/need for cottage boxes in several rooms of your house. This ensemble would be great for a stamp camp or class project. Get the full step-by-step instructions by subscribing to the month of October over at Craft Project Central!

Mandala Art Journal Page
It's been a long time since I've shared my daily personal posts. Life became busy. Time seemed to shrink. Energy was focused elsewhere. Through it all though, I haven't stopped creating. As the season starts to change, hopefully my focus will change with it. I want to return to these posts. Share what I am creating with you. To inspire you. To give witness to my creative life. So today I take a first step and share this Mandala Art Journal page that I created for Paper Crafter's Library. Making mandalas can be incredibly meditative. You can lose yourself in the symmetry, the detail, the repetition. This mandala was created on watercolor paper and then cut out to be adhered to the art journal page. If you are interested in the full step-by-step video for how I created the page, feel free to head on over to Paper Crafter's Library by clicking on the badge in the upper right-hand corner of my blog. This is one of many art journal pages I have created for Paper Crafter's Library and you can access all the pages and videos for them if you become a Paper Crafter's Library subscriber. I will continue to share photos of the finished pages with you here on my blog as well :) Thanks for stopping by!
